YES! What is that SyFy crap? Shall we promote illiteracy just a little harder, please? *sigh* I heard there's some explanation for the change out there, but I haven't read it yet.

I see the Apocalypse is making someone a cranky camper. Remind me...the four horsemen were Famine, Pestilence, War and ...Frosty?

LOL, only a little. Winter is long up here in the frozen tundra. And after an hour of snow-blowing with the lad, it's snowing again.

I'll come stand in your garden. The hot flash I'm having now will not only melt any existing snow, it should make the ground so toasty that nothing will stick there for the rest of the season!

You're welcome in my garden any time. I'll make sweet tea and biscuits.

I think you would feel a little differently if you lived your whole life someplace like Baltimore, DC or Wilmington.

None of those 3 cities are known for their particularly snowy Winters and to get another 15-18 inches on top of the 20+ they got on the week end does make it feel like the world is ending.

Two of my sisters live in Virginia and they're not thrilled, but spring WILL come. Annoying as it is, it's not permanent and it's not the end of the world.

I think it's more that people love drama.

Did you get out in time? Are you in Japan now?

Yeah, but your sisters did not grow up in VA. My friend who has lived her whole life in DE was not prepared for the storm, does not own a shovel because by the time she went out to get one they were sold out.

It's not permanent but for people who have to try to get to work and aren't use to snow and where the states are not used to plowing for snow it is a huge problem and a huge concern.

People like drama, but I think your underestimating how difficult it is.

I changed my flight for the 9th and left 24 hours early so made it to Japan. My original flight on the 10th was canceled, I know because they called me up not realizing I had made it out on the 9th. XD;

Of course I did not get everything done I had meant to and probably forgot things at home. ~.~
