I got a call from an old friend (one I hadn't heard from in a long time, not actually 'old' in terms of years lived!) this morning. Apparently she was reading my handful of posts from the last few months in an attempt to get caught up with what I'm doing. It does get better
In the midst of a very stressful phase in my own life, I have heard about the many suicides in the last few months. Suicide prevention has been a cause close and dear to me for a very long time. No one should ever have to feel that there is no other way to find relief but in something as permanent as death.

P.S. The day's earlier chaos/angst seems to have resolved nicely. I got the deferments I needed to make it until I get a shiny new job. So, taking a deep breath and gonna watch silly videos while sipping beverages. =D
