I start a new job on Tuesday. It is with a company that works with a law firm to try to get representation for veterans who have had claims denied by VA hospitals. Apparently the commercials are nationwide (my brother has seen the commercial). It doesn't pay that great, but it is a job while I am looking for something better. I have a friend ( Read more... )

I leave tomorrow to head down to interview on Thursday. My parents, the dogs, and I will be heading to the southern part of the state in the trailer to the reservation to prepare for my interview with the tribe as an archaeological tech. I have a job interview on May 6th with the Seminole THPO as an archaeological technician full-time permanent. I really hope that I can get this job. I think it would be a great stepping stone for my career. Plus, the Seminole nation is huge in Florida, with 7 reservations across the state, which would equal lots of work. Well, i just got my storage unit to put all my stuff in. Also got a reservation for a uhaul truck so I can move all my stuff to the storage unit. Right now, it looks like a better idea if I move to my parents house in Florida. It is just a better financial situation if I do. If I do this, then I will have to get a storage unit for my stuff here, take only necessities (clothes, thesis stuff, archaeology gear, and dog stuff).
