It is official, I will be leaving for Oklahoma on Friday and should arrive by Sunday to start the job hunt on Monday. I will be staying at an extended stay hotel on the north side of town until I find a job and an apartment close to that job. This should be an interesting, fun, scary, and adventurous journey. I am currently waiting to hear if I will be defending my thesis anytime soon. A couple weeks ago, my thesis chair passed on my paper to the rest of my committee, then it will go to the graduate dean for her approval. I have a second interview for a job in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It would be for the Girl Scouts as a program coordinator. I would be in charge of figuring out programs to keep girls interested in scouting, education, public service, as well as trying to get adult volunteers. I could be traveling all over the area. I'm home. Got released at 6pm. So happy to be home. They gave me a roommate last night, which made it very difficult to sleep with all her machines going and snoring. Only got maybe 5 hours of sleep. Hope I loose this yellow tint on my skin and start returning to normal.

I'm in the hospital. Have been since Monday afternoon. I went to work that day and people were saying I looked yellow, my eyes started turning yellow, and that i should go to the hospital. I did and have been here since. Haven't figured out what exactly is wrong yet. Have had CAT scans, MRI, endoscope, multiple blood work. Only thing we know ( Read more... )

I had my gallbladder removed a week ago today. I was having a real problem with it. Found out it was packed full of stones, tested positive for gallbladder disease, and the day of surgery was told it was very inflamed and should have been removed a week prior.
