I have never before been so glad to have a holiday. I don't even know why I've been feeling so stressed lately, since the workload hasn't been much higher than normal, but I still welcome a rest.

Why do I have so much spam? I have 123 emails in my spam folder that have accumulated over the last eight days, and I don't know why.

Also, my capslock light has ceased to work. It can be on or off, but rarely corresponds to the actual truth.

I hate Thursdays.

It looks like I won't be able to host Lost-watching. I can't get hold of the cable that I need to connect my laptop to the tv. Does anyone else feel like doing it? At this rate I might as well just watch it by myself though ( Read more... )

Well, lectures once again. The Maths Department seems insistent on gradually pushing all my lectures into a minimum number of days. Wednesdays and fridays only have one thing each, while mondays have four and both tuesday and thursday are full from 9 to 5. I finally got some writing done on the NaNoWriMo story I have to finish. I've been leaving it at just over 50,000 words since the end November, but today I actually got round to writing about 4000 words. It's now at 58,000 words, I've got past the hard part, and I might actually finish this thing. If I do, that will make it the only story I have ( Read more... )

I'm going to be out of Sheffield from the 23rd to the 29th/30th, and I only recently realised that I haven't sorted anything out for my cat Zurmalo.
