I went to the Hallmark store in the mall earlier today to buy a card for a retirement party I'm going to tonight (side note: Hallmark makes no card appropriate for "Sorry you got forced into early retirement from the place that laid me off").
Anyway, right near the retirement card mini-section was this display:

When I do a ride-along in the cab of a train, I listen to the open air radio that rail operators use to communicate with the rail controllers (who basically have the same job as air traffic controllers, except with trains). Where am I? Who are you again?
What? The Coraline premiere was in Portland? I wish I'd known that, I probably would've wandered by there on my way home last night if I knew that, not like I'd be able to get in, but just to rubberneck.
