October leaves changing color
In addition to the 2009 daily photo project, I tried something else last month - there are 2 trees near my apartment complex that are shaped sort of like candle flames and turn deep orange and red by the end of October. Cultural appropriation from a conservative? You don't say!
So it goes like this - in a South Carolina mall, there was a conservative kiosk selling bumper stickers with "biting" catchphrases like "Al Qaeda's favorite days: 9/11/01 and 11/04/08." and "Work Harder. Obama needs the money." Ha ha ha. Anyway, the mall got letters of complaint, and so the kiosk's lease is up at the end of July and won't be ( Read more... )
