Thanks so much, EBW! Well, I hope it will prove to be an auspicious sign and that things will go better in 2007. I am trying to maintain a positive attitude and thinking good thoughts about it. We shall see.
Happy New Year to you too! I always enjoy reading your posts and comments and I hope all is well. :)
Thank-you, dear Claudia! I know you have been pulling for me and I so appreciate it. *bounces with Claudia*
Yes, the celandine flower is beautiful, isn't it? Simple and such a lovely color. And such an unexpected treat--it's almost mystical in a way--for it to bloom now. But I'm not asking any questions, just enjoying, hehe.
Thank goodness they at least gave you some equity. I'm very glad that you at least got some of that despite not getting all you wanted. And your Celandine plant is adorable! Hugs to you and a blessed 2007!
Yes, that is what I based my final negotiations on--forgot the up front salary and zoomed in on the equity--which they accepted so I have a decent chunk of the pie--now all we need to do is cook it properly!
Yes, I have so enjoyed these few little flowers--I can't tell you how much! They are very special and appreciated--perhaps as a "sign" of good times to come. I definitely hope so--for all of us in LJ-land, hehe.
Thanks so much GW! They are lovely, aren't they? And even more appreciated for having come as a complete surprise! And also because the plant was a special one, being hard to find, and my namesake.
I do hope it will be an exciting year and a solid one from a financial and growth perspective. I am so tired of precarious job situations.
And Happy New Year to You! I wish you all the best. :)
