relaxing weekend
Not much really going on here. Saturday was fun, Rachel came up to visit for the day. So we all went to CPK for lunch, relaxed a bit, and relaxed some more. ;) I do love it that Rachel is close by. My day!
Tomorrow, I'm taking the day off! AND, I'm spending it at a knitting convention! I couldn't be happier! I get to spend the whole day shopping for yarn and fiber, hanging out with knitters, and just being around yarn. Now this is what I call the perfect day! This morning, Celia woke up around 6:45, and came downstairs. She's been waiting for today for 2 months, because Nathan is taking her camping! It's at a campground about 10 minutes away, only 2 miles up 270 from our place. Celia has been asking to go camping for ages, and now that it's cool, and we had a free weekned, she gets to go! Light The Night Walk
Hi everyone! On Saturday, Oct 6th, I'm going to be walking in the Light The Night Walk to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Last year, one of my best friend's lost her 14 year old sister-in-law to Leukemia, and I'm walking in her honor. Please help me make my goal of $200!

ultrasounds
I really love getting ultrasounds. I got to have another one today, after 4 long weeks of waiting! And everything looks really great! There's one healthy baby, moving around like crazy (it wouldn't keep still!), unless the tech needed to get a good pic of a particular place, then it would stay in the absolute wrong position. Yesterday morning, as we were on our way out of the house, Celia decided she had to have a yogurt. So she ran to the kitchen and got one. I was so happy that she's older now and can really do these things! Makes one less thing for us to deal with in the morning. And they're in the bottom drawer of the fridge, so she can reach them just fine ( Read more... ) -
Good news and bad news.
Well, I had another scan today. Baby 1 is doing great!! Growing perfectly, strong heartbeat, couldn't ask for more. Baby 2 is the problem. No heartbeat, and is about a week behind developmentally, which at this point is HUGE. The doctor said that he's pretty confident that we'll be just having 1 baby. Oh my god.
We had our first OB sonogram this morning, and everything looks great. Very typical for 6 weeks. Too small to see heartbeats, but other than that, good! Yes- I did say heartbeats. There were 2 gestational sacs there, each with a little blip inside. It looks like we're having twins ( Read more... )
