Wow, 2008 is over.  I even celebrated the end of it.

I only got Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day (today) off, so I made the best use of my time.  I want to enjoy it before busy season starts this Friday.  Busy season entails: my normal 4:20-10:30pm schedule PLUS morning TOEFLs and some afternoon classes between 1pm and 4pm.  I'm ( Read more... )

It's late, but check this food out. It's a mixture of sesame, raisins, peanuts, and rice puffs stuck together with honey.  It's so good and my new snack addiction.  I discovered this in Ssamziegil plaza in Insadong.  I need to buy another pack of this soon :)

I've been experimenting with some cooking last week.  It all came up because thinking that they were sweet rice cakes, I ended up buying some acorn jelly.  After tasting it, I concluded that they were not rice cakes, but something, so I googled "Korean grayish blob" and came across the following cooking website: mykoreankitchen.com

I lucked out, because of the kids having their midterms and because of National Foundation Day, a national holiday in Korea that celebrates the founding of the nation of Korea.
