I've got a gig coming up with a local Scottish society, but alas, most of my tunes are Irish!

Lend me some inspiration! What are everyone's favorite Scottish tunes? (especially for fiddle or harp!)

Lagan Love

My love is like a red red rose.

Come By the Hills

And I hate to be cliched, but Scots love Loch Lomond.

I'm primarily a vocalist (accompanying myself on harp), but these all sound wonderful as harp tunes as well.

I like Neil Gow's lament for the death of his second wife, Walking the Floor, Mairi's Wedding, and Laddie Lie Near Me.

I also think Cape Breton tunes would be appropriate, so from that tradition I recommend Brenda Stubbert's reel, Calum Breugach, the Devil in the Kitchen and Sleepy Maggie.

I second Neil Gow's Lament for his Second Wife, Sleepy Maggie and the Cape Breton choonz. Also, Jenny Nettles is a real toe tapper.
