No, seriously, what an amazing update, I was holding my breath the entire time!

You wrote Mark's inner conflict so well, and at some points it's even hard to dislike Simon (although he definitely scares me!)... and it made me so sad when Mark almost shied away from Jason's touch. He's really gonna need A LOT of comfort after all the whumping, poor Markie!

Mark's been pretty interesting to write at this stage - although he let Jason help him when he was really sick, I kind of figured it could never be as simple as 'lets all hug and be alright'...the comfort's going to have to be a bit more than that (like in your wonderful fic...hehe, we like to make things difficult on ourselves, don't we???)

Simon/Mark has ended up extremely creepy and complex...which makes me want to write backstory. Because I'm evil like that ;)

But now I have to go play with kids...eeep!

You're definitely right - no way the other boys can just come and hug Mark and everything's alright again, not after all those years of torture! At least that also leaves room for some more stories to elaborate the healing process and all that (like a "10 years later" kind of story, maybe?)

I wouldn't mind reading some more backstory to that relationship... it's very creepy but also quite interesting.

Just got back - it was all fun but exhausting. Four hours of kiddies was more than enough...I need my TT boys and slash to calm me down!!!

Yeah, I would like to explore some 'aftermath' and back story...although I think I also need a little break from this world first. Because I like evil and creepy, backstory is likely, though...plus, I kind of want to write some of the 'other' Mark/Robbie backstory, although it might be veeeeeeeeeeery sad :(

Poor Howard, the only sensible one and still people tend to forget him. *g*

And poor Mark seems to be falling apart now, hop he can last at least another part of this chapter so that he can get out of the mess. Such mess it is too with everyone running around wanting to save the day... ;)

Hehe, actually, I've been playing with a bit of hero!Gary this weekend finishing that cabin boy story...but maybe he needs to be celebrated for being extra heroic in the elf!fic too...I do love hero!Howard....*ponders* :)
