i dont know if theres some issue with logic boards, but my friend was out of warranty, his logic board cracked and they replaced it for free as well.

With the economy in decline over the past couple years the smart companies have been really focusing on customer satisfaction to increase brand loyalty that will extend into the inevitable economic expansion and translate into future sales. It's great to hear when a business goes above and beyond like this, particularly in your case.
