Wow... I've never really experienced "withdrawal symptoms", but that sounds like a helluva road to walk. Still, it's awesome that you're striving towards this goal, and I wish you all the best in reaching it! :)

They're... Unique to this SSRI. The basic sensation it a banging in your head due to lack of a neurotransmitters. Effexor was immediately worse; felt like someone actually hitting your head with a mallet with bursts or jolts of lightning and blackness affecting balance, sight, hearing and train of thought.

Since they each can be replaced with another, that's usually how people get around it. Cymbalta's is the least, but it lasts the longest of all the discontinuation effects. So there is a big hue and cry about their free samples they hand out.

But I can't stress enough that it worked for me, more obviously than any other. So a month of pain just doesn't stack up compared to how much it helped me learn coping strategies for depression and stress of life.

Would you ever feel comfortable telling me more about the depression related to being in South Bay? Now that I'm out of Sunnyvale I'm curious about that - I'd always assumed my specific location was toxic rather than the general area.
