Well, I quit my job. My last day is one week from today (Friday). I found that I was taking too many sick days for homework. Taking 2 out of 3 days off a week for homework and still barely finishing the load is little excessive I think. Laptops are a wonderful thing. The LAN party put on by Doubletake and Caleris proved it yet again. I think I may be somewhat obsessive/compulsive. Not insanely so, but more than the average person. I mean on a scale of 1 to 10, where people are normally around 2 or 3 and the people who are literally crazy are around 9 to 10, I would fall in the 5 to 6 range ( Read more... )

For the past 3 Saturdays I have spent 12+ hours working on final projects. Yesterday set a new record at 16 hours. Basically, a group of us rocket scientist get together at one of our houses (usually my dad's place) and work until project is done or we are to worn out to move. I got my new laptop two days ago. 1.7 GHz P4 Mobile, 512 Ram, GeForce 2 32mb, CDRW/DVD combo drive . . . So far it has already been used extensively for my final flight project.
