My electronics professor was giving a lecture on a complicated circuit setup today and finished by saying, and I quote, "It couldn't be more simple!" Right... He did get a good laugh though.

I got my electronics exam back today. Another 100%!! This quarter is going very well. I hope I haven't jinxed myself for finals. . . :P

Well, the interview with Andrew's went very well. I asked as many questions as my interviewer and it turned out that he graduated from the AA Dept at the UW in 2000, so we had a lot to talk about. Also, it pays $10 - $12 starting and has the possibility of becoming a permanent position after 90 days. It may be a replacement for WaMu (NO MORE ( Read more... )

I applied for an internship at Andrew's Space and Technology that could eventually become a part time job. This company does work on future RLVs (Reusable Launch Vehicles) as well as some research on plasma micro thrusters. Well, I just finished the first quarter of my Orbital Mechanics HW, which consisted of 1 problem and took me roughly 3 hours. The finished product is 3 pages of tightly packed, neatly written (I only write neatly when I'm doing math) equations and diagrams, and only partially describes a 5 phase mission from Earth to Jupiter with a gravity assist ( Read more... )

Well today I got both my flight and orbital midterms back. Each had a nice neat 100/100 on the top! As a bonus, I got a 40/40 on my orbital homework. I rule!!
