DANI REESE I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. What I love about her so much is that they didn't oversimplify or stereotype her problems. She was a mess. In so many ways. But the show didn't treat her like it was a weakness, or that she should be criticised for using casual sex as a coping mechanism, or for not totally embracing AA. She was a mess but the show let her be a bit of a mess and let her start to work through things in her own way.

She was completely self aware; she knew her flaws, knew the things she needed to change but refused to do it on anyone else's terms but her own. And she started to embrace change and embrace more positive things in her life. Ugh I just love her.

This is old but still one of my favourite things I've ever written because I loved exploring Dani's darkness. a woman a man walked by

I'm a fan of all the female characters in Firefly, but something I love about Inara was that soft tone so characteristic of her voice that could make men take their pants off or run away because she can take you down...

I rewatched firefly not long ago and I have too many feelings.

Lady is a class act, all the way. She's grown on me more and more with every re-watch; I love her so much, and I adore how brutal and cutting she and Mal can be, cutting off each other at the knees even as they build the other up. Ahh, my HEART.

Knows how to kill zombies and does so with the most badass swagger ever seen.

Only referencing the TV show, but I love how she's grown from this almost helpless character into someone that could totally fend for herself if she were to be out on her own.
