Apparently the call for female-oriented computer games has been answered. Uterdic, there is an actual ice skating game out there -- Michelle Kwan Figure Skates. All-nighter. Excellent. I haven't had one of these in months. We've got eight bodies huddled in a dorm built for a midget, one absorbed in engineering, another in oceanography, and several engrossed in a gyno discussion. Curious when Starbucks opens its doors to the squinty-eyed night hawks when morning comes - planning a break about that time.

but, in defense of KCC, at the finale they pulled out of the mattress, among the assortment of jousting equipment, a kitchen sink. And, for anybody familiar with the show, that's just too beautiful for words.

Dragged myself to KCC tonight to view a friend in a pathetic performance of "Once Upon a Mattress." Yeah, so I've seen it performed in three places now, the best, of course, at Marshall High, from the vantage point of the pit. Kate Goedde was incredible ( Read more... )

My brother, who completed his bachelor's and master's in 3.5 years, is packing for a trip to Cancoon. again. And, when he gets back, complete with attractive tan, will sigh contentedly and settle on a new job that pays $100,000+ for six months.

Just to spite him, I'm headed to a broker to invest my pocket change.

It's official - cepheidus has a paying job for the summer. True, I have to work intimately with high schoolers (I love you guys), suffer through a month of all-nighters, and work two other jobs to cover for the crap pay I'm getting, BUT . . .
