Sigh... drama seems to be inescapable. In college, people are calling it so immature and "high school". But in high school, I always thought it was so very "elementary school ( Read more... )

Speaking of drama, I've been free of it for the most part, yay! Being a drama magnet sucks. Are you getting any or you talking about like other peoples drama?

Oh, and about the retirement home thing...My stepmom and aunt both work in them, and from what I hear I can offically say YES! at least among the staff and the elderly that don't stare blankly at "Young and the Restless"

Sadly I know you are right.

I have worked for a Fortune-500 company, and the one thing I learned is... No matter how you try to escape it you cannot. Everything after high-shcool is just more high-shool. The way we went about builing relationships as little-adults is the same way they are built in the real world, even when you get to the top. Yeah I have enticed my fair share of drama, and for that I feel guilty.

Hopefully, locally, if we all work together we may get it to stop. I am not declaing a truce, but a tenative peace. Flame Wars are bullshit. Even if we (both groups) never learn to LIKE one another (I suppose we are alowed to hate (such a strong word *tsk) who we want), the least we could do is be civilized enough not to start a verbal-riot every chance we get.

I need to you know I am not pointing fingers, just making suggestions and observations.

Best of luck in all you do.

I'd love some sort of truce/peace/whatever, as long as you can quit saying untrue shit about me. I've done nothing but defend myself from your attacks this entire time. I didn't start anything. It does take two, (or more,) but when someone insults me on false grounds, I'm not going to just let it be. I'm going to defend myself.

Quit that, and I'll quit retaliating. Deal?

Yeah, it seems drama never goes away. It's funny because college kids are always saying stuff like, "Oh, all that high school drama just disappears when you go off to college." And it just doesn't seem possible.

I know for a fact there is nursing home drama. Scary stuff... -__-

My friend's brother said a long time ago, on the subject of college drama,

"There's just as much as there was in high school, but with more sex."
