Back home.... o.o

After nine months of dormitory life, I'm really dreading living with my parents again. I cleared out my dorm and brought almost everything home yesterday afternoon and spent the rest of the evening there. My parents sure didn't waste time in reminding me just why I was so happy to be away from them in the first place. Sigh... Arguing with eachother ( Read more... )

Most likely, yes. Still haven't managed to contact Keera though, and I've called like 5 times on 5 separate days. >.< Any idea when a good time to call would be? Reaally cutting it close on time and I don't know what I'll do if we don't have a place to sleep.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Well, I'll tell keera to call you. What's the easiest number she can reach you at? Or maybe I can relay the message. So, when would you arrive? How many people? And for how long? :)

251-680-9678 is my cell number and definitely the easiest one to reach me at... can't talk for very long on that one though as it is not cheap. I've been trying to call from home but I'm not there often enough to tell her to call that number...

Maybe passing on the message would be best. There will be three of us: me, my boyfriend Jordan, and our good friend Duncan. It's possible but unlikely that we'll be picking up my friend Allanah in Connecticut also. I haven't heard from her recently but last I heard she wasn't going to be able to afford it.

We will be arriving on the 9th or 10th of May.. (Coming up Very soon, I know...) and staying for 7 or 8 days. The Sama's don't need to worry about us much.. none of us drink or do drugs or any crap like that. We really just need a place to sleep -- we don't want to impose on Keera's family. We're not expecting to be fed or constantly entertained or anything like that although I certainly wouldn't mind spending some time with all of them. I guess that's all...

Hmm, I suppose you could, but it's very cluttered right now. Wasn't going to set up everything I brought back from my dorm until after the trip. But I'll ask my parents if it's okay with them.

:( Ahh well, at least we'll get to see you on the way up and back down. Let us know if there's anything in particular you want from Canada since delivering it to you wouldn't be out of the way at all. ^^

In a nutshell, my mom is horrible with money, spends waay too much and has killed their credit rating to the point where my dad got turned down for the new car he wanted. Plus, she does nothing to help around the house such as cooking, cleaning, etc, leaving my dad to do all that on top of being primary breadwinner.
I'm sure she has complaints of her own, but those are his and he's the one who wants a divorce...
They certainly haven't been "in love" for as long as I can remember (they freaking got engaged after 6 weeks of dating! They're totally incompatible.) so it's not really shocking. It'll just be quite an upheaval.
