Vacation in a nutshell
Thursday was the best day of vacation so far. We did all the stuff that I posted about before, plus we caught a double feature at the drive in (transformers 2 and Star Trek). Janice
Yesterday my Grandmother had her 4th dose of chemo. Last night she wen to the hospital for vomiting. The doctors have determined that the chemo is notaffecting the tumors at all so she will not be continuing with her treatment. Initial estimates are that she may have a month left. -

So, just got a call from my mom. My grandmother's doctors found more cancer. It's pancreatic and metastasized. It's inoperable. At this time we don't know what stage it is, so probably we have between 6 months to a year. I'm really sad that she won't be around to have any great grandchildren, but I'm glad that she will be at my cousins wedding ( Read more... ) -

I love American Idol
I do, I really do. It is so wonderfully catty. Some of the singers are so excessively awful that I just have to wince and laugh. Now granted, some of the remarks the judges make are ridiculously snide and often hurtful and occasionally make me wince more than the person sing...er...attempting to sing. If you never knew Karoline Brown, I am sorry. Think of the most wonderful and amazing person you know and know that Karoline was in a league of her own. She was the most beautiful person I had the honor to know.
