Scien_tology is on the loose. And they've slicked up their advertisements for a whole new generation. Instead of preaching their message of out-dated science, repression and "fair game" attacks, they've hired some of the best ad agencies in the world to soft-sell their product. I completely agree. I mean, they have killed people.

I don't ever intend to end up in Clearwater, FL, because they basically run the place. I don't trust this church.

Did I ever tell you I was raised by a Scientologist? Yeah, my father. He would use the teachings of Scientology to PROVE to himself that when he made me cry (in fear of him, generally) that was just me trying to manipulate him into feeling guilty, which meant he was free to be even more cruel to me in retaliation. Needless to say, I was never attracted to my father's version of religion.

I am so sorry to hear about the way your dad treated you. That is very sad. I'm glad you weren't trapped into his religion.

I didn't respect most of what he told me, so there was no way he'd be able to talk me into his religion.
