How about not depending on a single temp agency and applying to as many as you can, as well as other jobs? It's gotta be as hard for them putting people to work as it is for you finding a job. Plus you have a better chance of not being put in something temporary.

Oh, I have been. Their utter and complete failure to take any action whatsoever is kind of the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

Houston is so full of people, living here legally or otherwise looking for jobs, that it's insane.

I can understand it being difficult for them to put him in a job in this economy, but it's the utter lack of them doing ANYTHING that's the problem. As in, they won't even call him back when they've said they would. And they give the impression that they haven't even looked at his resume...
