I am in need of a new job.
So let's assess my job situation: I started two days after Thanksgiving last year, so I've been there for about 5 1/2 months. In that time, there have been 4 incidents necessitating a call to 911. I am embarking upon a project!
Since my previous crochet projects have gone so quickly (finished what was left of my afghan in a few days, made 2 stuffed moose in about 9 days, and a hat for Craig in 2 days) I am embarking upon a much larger project of (somewhat) my own design. So Athena and Apollo are getting along really well. Within 24 hours they were playing like they'd been friends forever. I've got a few pictures posted on facebook here, and will post more later when we have internet at home. Here's one of my favorites:

Tempura Bacon
...has now been added to the list of things I must try at least once. It is bacon dipped in a batter and deep-fried. As if bacon wasn't unhealthy enough already, they made it better! The restaurant serves it...on top of a salad. New food network show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" is officially deemed a success.

Took my last final today, which was a make-up because I had the flu when we were scheduled to take the final. Walked out of the library trying not to scream, run, jump, and dance.
