Apparently people actually read this, so I might start posting again. There's a post on Slashdot about Office file formats in government. I'll be interested to see what the result of the discussion is. I work at the Ministry of Health, and we use Microsoft Office for everything. It'd be more likely to work, as long as it was just as easy as what we're doing now.

I was going through a bunch of stuff in the kitchen and I found a parcel for you. I think it's been there since last year some time. Sorry! It might have books in it, from the feel.

Oh, thanks! I think that's probably course notes for the Masters in Biostatistics I'm doing by correspondence. Should I come and collect them? Don't worry about misplacing the parcel for a while, these things happen.
