A lattice panel function for segmented regression
I'm looking at some prevalence data at the moment, where we believe the rate of increase in the condition has slowed in the last few years. I've tried fitting splines to the data, which are rather curvy. I met up with some class mates from Sydney Uni who I hadn't seen in a while. They're both completing postgraduate studies - one's doing a Masters in Applied Mathematics, and the other's doing a PhD in physics. Apparently people actually read this, so I might start posting again. There's a post on Slashdot about Office file formats in government. I'll be interested to see what the result of the discussion is. I work at the Ministry of Health, and we use Microsoft Office for everything.
