the fact that when leland saw the article and gasped i just glanced at the headline, shrugged and basically said "was going to happen eventually".
it... it just doesnt hit me anymore... as much as it sucks i've fallen into the jaded/"just used to it" catagory. It isnt right, but i'm with you, i feel helpless to do anything but live my life and try and counter what prejudice happens in my immediate life.

They blamed it on abortions done in the area too...saying the hurricane on that weather map majig they have looked like a fetus. People are fucking sick.

I try to remind myself that these are the extremists and they're a minority of the groups they represent, but they're a very loud minority and that scares me.

If anything, I hope they make people realize how ridiculous this hatred looks. It's easier to see when it's done in such an insane manner. But it's so fucked up that people have to deal with this kind of oppression and hatred for any reason, no matter the outcome. It's just sick.
