This was so good! It was funny and sweet and HEARTBREAKING all at once. I especially like the line about the Dean and the aviators, one of the best scenes ever!!

Poor Jeff though :(! And poor Annie! also good use of anthony.

When I got the notification for this I jumped with joy and scared my cat.

Thank you!! I'm glad you liked the part about the aviators. They're perhaps the coolest sunglasses there are, if you call pull them off. But most people can't haha. The Dean certainly thinks Jeff can.

Yes, poor Jeff and Annie. I honestly didn't intend this when I started. But I was having trouble filling the time. Plus, I wanted to do the proposal fake-out (which I'm surprised you didn't comment on, lol), and needed an excuse for Jeff to be acting weird.

When I got the notification for this I jumped with joy and scared my cat.

Lol, I've done stuff like that before. Like when Jeff walked up to Annie and said "Hey, I know this great bar for people that don't hate themselves." Or when Arjen Robben scored in the 89th minute of the 2013 Champions League final :)

So my friends are insistent that if I ever get to meet Joel McHale at a Con or something I should reenact that scene . . . I'm not sold at all but let's be real, he can certainly pull them off.

When the proposal was happening, I was kinda suspicious, because as Annie considered, they'd only been confessed for two days and I think that, after his spontaneous proposals to Britta, Jeff would make sure his proposal to Annie was thought out and planned for at least a month, lol. You did have a good explanation, and it makes sense :).

Yeah when that scene happened, I rediscovered the definition of the word Squee . . . my fellow Community fan friend was amused, my roommates not so much XD.

I fully support this.

Love the story the whole Jeff and Annie proposal was hilarious

But wow life got dark, more like life got darker than dark. This story is so good that after only 3 paragraphs you were able to get me emotionally attached to a character that doesn't even appear in the main story. But dammit MY EMOTIONS Ella will be missed :(

Seriously though keep up the good work. :)

Thank you so much! I really didn't mean for it to get that dark, it just sort of happened. My initial plan wasn't for Ella to have died (just seriously injured), but it ended up not working very well. If it's any consolation, I hate myself for doing it.

Glad you liked the alternate J/A proposal :-)

A bridge climb and a trip to the mountains. Quite the full day. 😀

I'm not sure where I got the ideas for that :-P

And yes, that is a very full day. But I did do some research. My rough timeline for the day was bridge climb from 9-11:30 (the hotel is right by the bridge climb company), then it's about an hour and a half drive to Katoomba, so they'd get there a little after 1 and have about 4-5 hours there. My understanding is that the short walk around the falls takes about an hour and a half. I really have no idea how long the other stuff takes, but that's why I was compelled to say that it wasn't crowded haha. If I was overly optimistic in my timeline then I apologize, but Annie loves to keep busy :-)

No, it's quite doable. Funnily enough if you were doing that exact trip in the flesh, that would be the perfect time to do it as its would be running in the opposite direction to the majority of the traffic in the city at that time of day. Go figure. That's pretty right for the falls and the Scenic World thing takes about one and a half hours. If you had them hiking then may be not. I've hiked extensively through that area (I actually have family in Wentworth Falls. You can hear the falls from their balcony) and they can take all day. Overall another good chapter.

What the hell was that?! First you give that warning so I'm already worried when starting the story. Shit's gonna hit the fan... What's gonna happen?!?!?
Then you make them go bridge climbing, where they have to fill out forms before hand... Oh god, someone's gonna fall!! Nooooooooooo...
And then, just when I think it's safe, the fake proposal! No Jeffrey!!! It's too soon, she'll say no!!! Aaaaaaaaagghhh!

We are not amused.

LOL, were you seriously worried someone was going to fall off the bridge? I'm not George RR Martin, haha, so I don't feel like it's a spoiler to tell you that Jeff and Annie will not be killed in my fic :-)

I make no apologies for the fake proposal though :-P

You may not be amused, but I was by your review, so thanks!

Haha, which show are you talking about? Community? Except for Pierce, they've been good about not killing anyone off. Even Starburns made a return :)

I don't think anyone else will die in the rest of my fic. I had no plans initially to kill a made up character either, but it just sort of happened (albeit 32 years ago). Anyone that was in the actual show is completely safe :-)

Awesome chapter, the other J/A proposal made me laugh, sad they'll be leaving Australia soon but you should make them bring back some Tim Tams :P

Crap. Should have had them try Vegemite.😊 we always get a chuckle when we watch tourists try it. Never gets old. Especially as guaranteed they always do it wrong. We could tell (Hugh Jackman actually did. Traitor!!!) how we eat it but that just spoils it. Yes, we're that sort of people.😂

Haha yeah always a laugh, I convinced my cousin that visited a few weeks ago to eat it with a spoon telling her its like nutella, so she took a full table spoon and ate it, safe to say she didn't speak to me for the rest of the day haha

Who says they didn't? You don't think Jeff would be one of that sort of people to bring some back with him and make his friends try it? I think he would be, lol.
