So, oldest son is graduating from high school on Sunday.  I've been busy preparing for the family to arrive as well as putting his graduation party together.  Luckily for me I'm friends with local musicians, including said son, so the entertainment for the party is set.    If I haven't been around much to read fics and such, that's why.  After this ( Read more... )

So, I go to the doc for the first time in 12ish years (ankle issues don't count) and I'm told, "Wow 42 and not on meds, that's amazing."  Really?  That's amazing?  What, we are all supposed to get medicated up?  My blood pressure was a bit high, but my co-workers think I should give it a few days and relax before I go in and get it taken again.  I ( Read more... )
