I wish I could say I understand your grief, but I couldn't touch your connection to him as his mother. I hope you stay strong and get through, though. There are a lot of people that care just as much about you, and I hope you will keep that in mind.

I really wish I could have hung around to get to know you better, and to listen to Chad's music with you, and you could tell me stories about him. That would've been awesome. I think that some day perhaps Zack and I will come back to visit, but it looks like it's going to be a while.

Hey I just went to Chad's LJ and left a comment for him. I didn't even realize you had your own LJ. Your son sat right behind me in most of my classes since our last names are so close, and there was never a dull moment. He hated my mainstream ways, I loved that he wasn't any of those things.

I feel safe in knowing that I will never forget him.
