Rachel decided on Monday that they were not going to move to Chicago. Jes and I are now racing to find a place to live and make sure that we actually have the money for first month's rent. Paula, Tierra's mom, finally died from her cancer. She died last Sunday and her funeral was on Thursday. It was really hard. I even cried on Moe... Tierra was supposed to get a hold of me yesterday when she got in to town so that we could see each other for a little bit. Her entire family has changed so much from this illness. Really enjoyed the piercing potluck party. The sushi turned out pretty good. Not the prettiest, but it was delicious.
Saw my first suspension. It was pretty cool.
I was sick yesterday. Finally started feeling better around 8:30 p.m. or so, after I threw up. Awesome, right? Wondering if I can eat anything today as I'm feeling a bit queasy. -

I haven't been getting many hours at work and it's killing me. I've worked 2 days so far. TWO DAYS!!! Over the period of a month. I've also had the initial 3-hour training that I was paid for. Moved into the new place in 2 nights. Took a lot of hard work and tired the hell out of us, but we got it done. Now we just have to put everything away.
Had the housewarming/carry-in party yesterday. Pretty nifty.
Three day weekend awesomeness. Party yesterday, baby shower today, Labor Day tomorrow. Elsa and I are making holiday dinner -
