Ha. Give a dog a bad name and continue to do so!

How does the Sienna compare with the not-totally-SUV Honda CR-V?

The Sienna is a mini-van. The CR-V is a cross-over, meaning it's a large wagon masquerading as an SUV (meaning your assessment is 100% correct). In trying to act its assumed role, the CR-V is a bit more rugged than the Sienna, but neither can really be considered an off-road vehicle. Both are available with FWD or AWD (Front Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive), but the Sienna is larger and has 3 rows of seats, where the CR-V has 2. Sienna is also consequently a bit more expensive.
