Everyone meaning your snobby "friends" in Slytherin I suppose. Besides, taking eight NEWT-level classes is, I believe, quite enough brain stretch.

Shouldn't you be preparing for OWLs or something? With your grades I can't imagine you will be able to pass them without a great deal of remedial assistance. Or is THAT why you've been cozying up to Severus Snape of late?
