Word from the locals is that Goldenrod's about two and a half weeks away.

[ There's scribbling in the background; pen on paper. He's muttering to himself. ] It's six days to Union Cave, but Panzer can make it in four. Two days is the fastest anyone gets through the cave - but I can catch an Onix there. Another day to Azalea, five days through the forest... probably more like three... and another four to Goldenrod, but I can make it two.

Twelve days. ... Or I can catch two Onixes, and probably make it ten. [ She can probably hear him grinning. ]

Ten days it is then. You'll have to put up for your own room though. I wouldn't share room with you if you paid me to. [She's totally joking, but sharing a room with Marco would be awkward.] Besides I already have a roommate.

So what's an Onix anyway. I mean, it's a type of gem isn't it?

Yeah. I'm not usually much of the working type. I mean, I'm still a kid. The most I've ever done is babysit and mow lawns. But I also had parents to buy me things.
