Back in NZ. Kind of sucks to be back, great to see people but my heart belongs somewhere else.

Just before catching the plane home I visited Harajuku, purchased more stuff that I don't need. The stores around Harajuku are rather amazing. It was raining so not much action on the bridge. I did manage to meet a few people and give away a few more N.U. ( Read more... )

those are some great photos :) the nationalist traffic procession is a bit scary. The ones taken from the plane are great...I've got a tonne of pics like that too. None with moonlight tho! I love taking photos in low light situations. And it is so much fun learning what you can do with a camera.

So when are you moving to Japan...? sounds like your heart belongs there, alright!

Kia Ora Mel,

Well if I could make a living whislt living in nihon I would go there right now. Part of me is tempted to just go and see what I can make of it, but really I need to do some research first. I'm not interested in teaching English (shit I would have to learn it first anyway).

I've getting into taking pictures in low light. I really do need to get myself a tripod. If I had a tri=pod this would have beeen in focus...

Good pictures of Tawhairiri in your latest entry. I really like the one where your Dad is tickling his tummy, both look very happy.

tripods are easy to find... i daresay you'll be able to get ahold of one but photo warehouse is the shizz for photographer supplies.

Used the camera on manual. I focused onto the moon which was all that was visible in the view finder. Set the arpeture to F2.8 and then took maybe 10 shots, each with a different exposure, the best one was 4 seconds. Digital cameras are so cool, you can take heaps of pictures and it dosn't matter if only 1 out of 100 works.

Also is good to have a freind who upgrades his camera and wants to get rid of the "old" one.

I really like the way it turned out like a painting, the clouds being so moody. Can't wait for the next full moon!

Well we love the fact that you are back in the country but wouldn't be surprised at all if you make the big move. When do we get to see you next?

I'm coming up for one night on Tuesday. Apparently some woman who screaches a lot is doing a concert or something.

We should meet up before hand? Are you meeting up with anyone for drinks or dinner?
