Here in the non-Christian nation of Japan, the Colonel Sanders effigies in front of all the KFCs are already decked out like Santa Claus, and the first Christmas song of the season came on the radio today.

There are not one but TWO radio stations in Detroit that started playing nothing but Christmas music on Nov. 1.

Yes, they are both FM stations. Not HD. Not AM. FM.

Thanksgiving Day, and not before, is the earliest one should have to hear Christmas music. (Though I do look forward to pulling out my collection, part of the joy of it is that the season is BRIEF.)
