more knitting

Recently, I've started some different projects. I made some baby bibs and burp cloths for my friend's new baby, I'm working on my first shawlette, and I'm slowly knitting away on my wedding chuppah. I also recently bought enough sock yarn in the same color to knit a cardigan! Anyway, I have not left my socks behind. Here are some pictures.

Thank you, I love those too, especially the shoes. I bought them to wear with hand knit socks, because fall is much better with handknits!

It won't arrive until January. I have to preorder it, and I thought now was the perfect time since January is my birthday month. As soon as it arrives, I will certainly show you!

Wow, you knit the coolest socks!!! You mentioned knitting a chuppah, are you doing a full Jewish wedding?

No it will be an interfaith wedding, incorporating the traditions of a few different religions. We have a presbyterian minister performing the ceremony, but she will do a few prayers in Hebrew. We're also going to do the breaking glass thing, and of course, the chuppah.
