Ooh, your projects look pretty!! I should learn how to knit sometime. I love the bag you made! :D I need to put my pictures in a place that I can post them on my lj. Did you happen to get the ones I emailed to you? I'm just now figuring out how to use the software, so I'm never sure if what I'm sending actually gets to where it's supposed to...

It's fun once you get past the ripping-your-hair-out stage. :) I'm slow to catch on to things like that. I'm now 8 rows into the child's sweater. I anticipate it will take me 3 weeks. It's hard to say though. I don't knit every day. Sometimes, I'll go a few days without knitting a single row, then I'll do 3 hours in a day. I have found that it cuts into my free time less than other hobbies because I knit while watching DVDs. Two birds with one stone. The only glitch is that I can't do it while watching movies in anything other than English or French! ;)

Yes, I got your pictures! Actually, that may be the first one I've seen of you. You're pretty much how I pictured you. I was thinking Chrissy was a blonde, and I was wrong, of course. So I guess I'm right about half the time. The sledding looked like so much fun. I didn't get to see any snow this year, and I missed it.

I found the same thing. I'm catching up on movies, and now I hate foreign films because they keep me from knitting. Lame, huh?

I finished a hat and a scarf yesterday. Which is quite exciting. But, a little misleading, since I haven't finished anything else this year/month.

Do you have a picture of them? :) Did you do your own pattern or use one from a book/magazine ( ... )

Wow, those are fantastic! It's great that you've managed to get so much done in a month. My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 7, but I don't remember a lick of it now. I used to be able to crochet, too, and I might still be able to... I don't know, though. At any rate, the bag you've knitted has made me want to take up knitting again. I definitely love the bag; it's awesome!

I used to crochet when I was a little girl, but I only learned to single stitch and nothing else. I used to make cat collars, but I couldn't actually use them on the cat.

You should see the bag on me. :D It's way too long - goes almost to my knees (and I'm fairly tall for a woman, too!). I suppose I could always safety pin a couple inches of the strap to the inside.
