VERY MAD after I received yet another spam mail

OK, that's it! I'm dropping this ridiculous orchestra out of my schedule tomorrow! I'm all fed up by this stupid manager's weekly capitalized spamming emails and her unorganized, probelmatic, chaotic management style. If she is reading this, all the better! You hear me, BITCH! (Seriously, this is the 1st time I yelled at someone online in such a ( Read more... )

That's the whole point of the post. To show how messed up this manager is. (and I modified the wordings so you can't tell which orchestra it is. It can be an orchestra in a Pacific Island, who knows? ;)

woaw that's messed up. surprise rehearsals are not okay for school orchestra. hopefully she will get her act together and you can enjoy orchestra next semester. she sounds like she must be new or something.

Yes, she is the 'new' manager. But even if she is new to the administrative world, there is no excuse to spam capitalized emails and harass musicians whenever she feels like to. That is just un-professional in any context, and inhuman in the Western academic world.

I'm not sure how it is over there, but around here there's lots of random little orchestras and stuff around like community orchestras, maybe you can do one of those in your free time instead? I'm sure they'd be more regular since they're made of working professionals and not a bunch of students with a bad orchestra manager....

I'm telling you, dude- TALK to the bitch before you actually drop the class. It's entirely possible that she's not cosmopolitain enough to know that her management style is terrible and invasive. Also, how would she know she needs to improve/alter her management style if nobody tells her?

If you're thinking of dropping anyway, then you might as well... what's the worst that could happen? You stop getting her annoying e-mails?

But you know... do it in a civil manner.

You know you want to. Do it for the orchestra, man. If you become a martyr, all the better!!
