Thanks, swanner. She really was an awesome dog. She was really sick toward the end, and she wasn't even my dog, but for some reason, I am embarrassingly broken up about this.

Don't be embarrassed. When animals die, it can hurt just as much as losing a person. And why shouldn't it? They are little entities with their own quirks and opinions, even if they can't talk.
