Suddenly Last Summer ended its run on Saturday night. It was a really good run of a play actually. No major fuck-ups on my behalf (which I find weird since I usually make at least one). I'm doing lighting for a show at uni and I'm starting to stress out about it. They're doing a production of Suddenly Last Summer (Tennesse Williams). I'm doing lighting design and operation, but I haven't really give much thought it. I have spent pretty much the whole day. Went out to go see Spellbound (which was good, but not the most brilliant movie I've ever seen) and spent the rest of the time sitting basically. Just finished reading the Player's Handbook. I found it interesting that in some parts of the handbook it was increasing vague (eg, DM's discretion, Varies and whatnot) but in other parts it was increasing detailed (like the overland speed stuff "you may travel up a river when you have a horse, pony, etc pulling on the shore"). I had wicked fun on Sunday starting my first D&D campaign. Thanks for everything, guys. I was freaked out at first when draic wasn't going to come (poor draic) but felt much better shortly afterwards. Leren is pretty awesome atm. Gotta love that longbow.
