In reverse
I noticed the strangest thing about my WIP the other day. When I started it, it was born of a writing prompt married to an idea, so I already had some stuff written that I just had to piece together. Then, I wrote some earlier scenes - not necessarily chronologically, but mostly things that happen early in the story, in some order or another ( Read more... ) -

Thinking about a change
I just realized tonight that this July, I will have been blogging here for 5 years. FIVE FRIGGIN' YEARS! It seems kind of mind-boggling to me. This started out as a way to keep in touch with a friend *waves to triciasullivan*, then it became sort of an anything and everything blog, and more recently I've tried to narrow it down to dealing with writing, since ( Read more... ) -
And so it begins...
Finally, I finished typing in all the handwritten scenes from my WIP earlier this week. It's been going really well, and I have to admit that I've been surprised by my own enthusiasm for the project. I truly feel that every minute I spend working on it is a minute closer to completion...closer to seeking an agent for it, and at the very least, ( Read more... ) -

Stuck
In the mid-January doldrums, anyway. I have been reading lots, writing a little, but generally not feeling like I have much to say. But to keep myself from slipping into the black hole of non-blogging again, I'm just popping by to say hello ( Read more... )
