I thought it sounded like a science fiction title. "Quantum of Sol", a movie about an evil plan to extract quantum particles from the sun, to create the most destructive weapon ever imagined.

So yeah, "Quantum of Solace" is weird. I think they should have gone with "Nanoparticle of Succor".

How about "Bring It On: Assiduousness of Approbation Ambassadors"

i'm fucking thrilled at the title, its so off kilter and weird. better than that its thoroughly unexpected and forceful. i've drummed my fingers at aggressively bland and easy titles like 'die another day,' 'the world is not enough,' and 'tomorrow never dies' (which actually makes no sense whatsoever)

casino royale blew me away in such a through way that i've been thinking about how awesome 'QoS' is going to be. this is a tremendously awesome first step. guessing at what bond fans will want gave us an ice hotel and invisible car.

now they're telling us what we'll like.

damn right.

At least they didn't try Quanta of Solace, which after typing it actually sounds like a cocktail.

Besides, it's an homage to the "Q" character and there aren't enough movies in the "Q" section of the rental stores.

Other options:
-Measure of Peace
-Meters of Sympathy
-Inch of Warlessness
-Segments of Deep Thought
-Another Bond Title with "Die" in it... Live and Let Die, Die Another Day.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was also an Ian Flemming novel, and probably makes a better Bond title...
