As if I needed another reason to love John Cho...or YOU for that matter.
I wrote a paper for my History of Prime Time Women class on "The Middleman." Hopefully it gets a good grade and does the show justice!

For much of the campaign season, given its potential role in the national election, I have wished that I could vote in my home state of Colorado, rather than California where the electoral vote is set. However, the Cho video you posted reminds me that there is another equally compelling vote on the ballot here, with equally long-range impact, which I will be able to weigh in upon.

I will be adhering to the advice concerning "No on 8" that Mr. Cho renders at the end of his very eloquent speech.

I believe that a man or a woman should have the right to be with another member of the same gender. I believe a man or a woman should have the same rights and tax affiliations as a married woman and man if they also take part in a ceremony declaring them united as one.

I also firmly believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, as so written in the Bible, and if that labels me as a closed-minded, idiot, that causes people to roll their eyes or gnash their teeth, then so be it. I will take their hatred and bigotry against my views in stride and on principal.
