I haven't been posting because of poor health, muscle weakness, and shortness of breath. They finally put me on oxygen and I am starting to feel better. Well, it has been a busy month. Lower energy has made it difficult to get things done, but I am finally feeling better and starting to catch up with things. I guess I over did it. March 20 I went to the doctor and found out I had pneumonia and that it looked like my left lung collapsed. It didn't hurt too much so I didn't think it was that serious. My breathing was getting really bad which is why I went in. I was prescribed antibiotics and after a few days I could breath better again. I've been ( Read more... )

This has been a really great week! I completed a lot of projects and things continue to get more organized. I've been better with my diet and have just had a good attitude all week. My only frustration is transferring from my wheelchair to my bed. My doctor ordered a trapeze for my bed to help me get in and out and exercise in bed. I am trying ( Read more... )

I struggle between coping with my muscle weakness and trying to keep up with things. I am really surprised that I manage to get done as mcuh as I do. My legs have been getting worse and now my shoulders are getting worse. I called MDA and they are going to do an assessment to see what kind of equipment might help me get around better. I'm still around. I tried to reduce my Prednisone and it didn't work out well. I got really weak through December and January and just figured out what was wrong.
