I asked Kelly Kilmer to make a large journal for me with a Frida frame. I just received it today. It is so beautiful! Here is the journal--it is 9 inches tall and 12 inches wide and 2 inches thick. Lots of room for adding embellishments!

It's been a busy week. Lots of distractions with funeral preparations for Howard. We had his funeral on Thursday and it was well attended. They played the song he recorded and lots of people cried. I didn't get enough sleep this week and ended up getting sick, so I slept a lot yesterday and I feel better today. I will just keep taking Nyquil ( Read more... )

Our neighbor, Howard Duvall, died this morning of cancer. He was a very happy-go-lucky guy with big dreams--most of which he didn't get to fill. Here is a stamp I made in honor of his life. I long for a simple life, but I think I have come to the realization that simple is not in my destiny! If things get too simple, I always find something else I just have to do!
