I don't think your heartless Alex. Just watching that video today broke my heart though. I do have a craving for meat, and I doubt my actions will change anything, but it was hard to watch and I felt partly responsible... sooo... I don't know, don't feel bad though Alex :)
Meat eating is a personal choice. But propoganda films like this go a little too far. And since when does the slaughter of animals = the slaughter of humans (ie references to the Holocaust?
I don't agree with all of PETA's methods, but the meet your meat is depicting how the animals are being treated. I don't want to argue with anyone, it just made me think twice about my 'personal choice.'
true, but is that really how ALL animals are treated. i don't really know. maybe i'm being naive, but i don't think it is. i think that some people say "look at this" and show the worst case scenarios. all in all, i'm just saying that omnivores rock.
Check how old that footage is. I haven't watched the video, nor do I desire to. I'm sure it's quite greusome. The slaughter house and/or animal farm(s) depicted aren't the only ones in existence, however. The Government has cleanliness and cruelty standards and enforces them when it has knowledge of violators. If all slaughterhouses were dirty, disgusting, unclean places of torture, our meat would be perpetually infected. Which it clearly is not
