A good day. A hard night.

Melancholy and FEAR

Facebook is down???
So I have been busy the last few days, and finally decide do catch up on all the social drama that is Facebook. When low and behold, the site won't load. What is this! Has society finally collapsed! Are there packs of raving teenagers roaming the streets! Are people being forced to talk to one another in real life?! Are the trolls no more? Have the ( Read more... ) -
Time grinding on and on.
Still working on boxing up the last of my mom's stuff with Dad. I have to finish the last of the the thank you cards this weekend for all the sympathy cards we have received. Which is really harder than it sounds, as they are either general statements, or really touching vignettes of how other people were touched by her life. So they can take a lot ( Read more... ) -
What now?
Been just over a month since Dad & I found Mom incapacitated on the couch. And 2weeks after she passed at home. Things are slowly adjusting to a semblance of normalcy. Trying to go through all her stuff is a slow process as we keep finding stuff, and everything has to be sorted. Such a long process, full of memories. Dad & I are doing it, but it is ( Read more... )
