PS In my mission to calibrate Castle Paradox's gamelist (I got IM to change the algorithm. Finally OHR House 2 is not in the top 5) I wrote a few reviews that IM has not accepted yet. Here is one that might interest you, though I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have since it's a pretty crappy review ( ... )

Castle Paradox is still around? Checking... double u tee giz...

Well, right off the bat... Well it still doesn't seem to be accepted? Don't see it up. Sure it's been like months.

Right off the bat, disregard the 5 years old or whatever: it was old before it ever came out. Ok, reading more. Kind of interesting, I suppose. Kind of a begrudging tone. This is where I'd snicker, but I can't get in the mood anymore. I really hope you get serious and knock it out of the park with Motrya. You have all the eye right there in that critique, please use it.

Because if you don't, I will wipe the floor with you. I wasn't kidding about summoning me back to the ohr. This counts! Woo-who!!!!!

I gave up calibrating CP's gamelist when IM hadn't accepted my reviews after a month. They're better written than half the reviews on the site, so I guess he's just been a bit lazy about it (who can blame the guy?).

Did you know Surlaw is planning to end HamsterSpeak at Issue 50? Can you feel it, Charbile? It's almost time for another tap-dancing-on-the-grave-of-the-OHR-while-JSH-sips-pina-coladas-and-makes-a-devious-grin entry.

I like that "big fish in a small pond" bit. I felt like that back in high school. I think a few people did. Small school, so it was easy to make a name for yourself, and easy to stand out as a "master" of this or that. I ruled the business classes, and history as well. But I knew I wasn't that good. I was just better than the people immediately around me. But some of them seemed to think I really was a master. Come university, I was just another fish in the sea.

It became pretty evident when some of them lost their power at CP and a couple of them begged to have their admin badges reinstated "minus the actual power".

Once they had lost their shiny badges they pretty much ditched the community they claimed to support. It was hilarious and tragic all rolled into one. They abandoned the younglings they claimed to support when admin badges were given to them elsewhere. I will never understand how those people got to those positions.

(sorry for deleting last comment, it is clear that I am way too used to being able to edit my posts after posting)
