So the concern is that powerful corporations end up controlling freedom of expression? There's a general problem, I think, which is that powerful corporations end up with undue influence over lawmaking and general government activity to the detriment of the general populace.

When people express disquiet over copyright infringement, they may mostly be concerned that individual artists will be denied a living by it. It would be nice to think of an explicit model in which that's not a problem.
